Tips On Setting Up Webex Meetings Preferences

By default, your personal room url is https://gfcmsu.webex.com/meet/<netid>. It's a very very good idea to change this, which is possible and easy by following the steps below.

In your browser, go to https://gfcmsu.webex.com.
Click Sign In.
Login to your Webex account with your Net ID and password.
Click on Preferences > My Personal Room.
Look for the "Personal Room Link" and change the part that is editable from your Net ID to something else that makes sense, such as firstname.lastname.
Click Save.
Your personal room URL is now https://gfcmsu.webex.com/meet/<WhatEverYouEnteredInStepFive>
