Overwriting A File

To overwrite a file (for example, program applications):

Find the file in the media library and click on it.
Click on the pink replace file button.
Click on the button to upload a new file, locate the file, and select it.
Set the upload date to be today's date but do not change the filename.
Click replace.

Doing it in this way leaves the permalink alone, which is what we should be linking to internally and externally. For example, if we use the permalink of https://gfcmsu.edu/pta_application/ then regardless of the filename we overwrite the application with the permalink will stay the same.
