Respondus Lockdown Browser Student Feedback Issue
There is currently a bug in Canvas that prevents students from seeing their quiz feedback if both Lockdown Browser is enabled AND an "Available Until" date is set on the quiz. We hope that this will be resolved shortly but we do not have an ETA on a fix from Canvas yet. In the meantime, please use the following workaround to allow students to see their quiz feedback.
While it is possible to either disable lockdown browser OR remove the "Available Until" date from the quiz after all students have completed the quiz or exam, we recommend that instructors manually disable Respondus Lockdown Browser after all students have completed the exam and leave the "Available Until" date set. If the "Available Until" date is removed, it is possible for students to take the quiz or exam after the due date and it will be marked late, this could potentially give students the belief that their attempt will be accepted late, which is at the instructor's discretion. Disabling Respondus Lockdown Browser after all students have completed the exam will not allow a student to take the exam after the "Available Until" date.
NOTE: Once we have become aware that this issue has been resolved, we will send a notification to all faculty and adjuncts that this workaround is no longer necessary.
